Our Impact

People–from volunteers to community business partners–are the backbone of our organization. Their dedication to our local environment through site volunteering, donations, sponsorship, stewardship and education is vital to the work we do in the Lee County community. If you’re looking to be part of our work through volunteering, making a donation, or sponsorship, see the impact we make below.

Every pound of trash removed by KLCB Volunteers has a profound impact on our environment. The entire ecosystem benefits–from the ospreys to the sea turtles. This ensures our native flora and fauna continue to thrive for generations to come and–in turn–future residents get to enjoy the natural splendor that makes Lee County the beautiful place it is.

In Case You Missed It...

“When we saw what was going on with our gulf waters we as a group decided to take action however we could. We signed up for the annual International Coastal Cleanup and were hooked! Being a part of the thousands of volunteers that marched up and down the shore that day solidified our decision and we requested to join the Adopt-A-Shore program the next day. The beach cleanup has now become an integral part of our monthly meeting as we dedicate one day per month to clean Bonita Beach!”

“Our county is home to some of the most unique, awe-inspiring habitats and wildlife in the world. Exploring this area with our students brings us so much joy, and we want to leave it pristine for future generations. Keep Lee County Beautiful offers so many opportunities to do that through their events and initiatives, and we love the fact that partnering with them connects us with like-minded individuals and expands our impact beyond what we could accomplish alone.”
