What is the Great American Cleanup?
The Great American Cleanup is the nation’s largest organized annual cleanup & beautification event. It encourages citizens to get involved in their own communities. Millions of volunteers nationwide take part in the Great American Cleanup each spring.
The Lee County Great American Cleanup is sponsored by Keep Lee County Beautiful (KLCB), Inc., and is part of the national Great American Cleanup program sponsored by Keep America Beautiful (KAB).

If you would like to join a community cleanup or beautification event in Lee County, simply check out our calendar. In it you will find the dates, locations and contact information for each cleanup. Information for Site Coordinators:
What is a Site Coordinator?
A site coordinator is anyone who wants to organize a cleanup between March 1st and May 31st. As a site coordinator registered with KLCB you can receive supplies for your cleanup event. Your cleanup event must be between March 1st and May 31st to receive garbage bags, posters, THANK YOU coupons and other supplies.

Register
To sign-up, simply fill out the online Site Coordinator Registration Form. If you are unable to fill out the online form, you may register by mail/fax using the Registration Form included in the Site Coordinator Information Packet.
Recruit Volunteers
Volunteers are the most valuable asset of the GAC. Ask friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, schools...anyone who has a vested interest in keeping our community clean and green.
Report Back
Turn-in an online Wrap-Up Report Form by June 5th, or two-weeks after the completion of your last cleanup event, whichever is sooner. If you are unable to fill out the online form, you may send one in by mail/fax. There is a Wrap-Up Report Form included in the Site Coordinator Information Packet.
